4. Philosophy and Objectives

   The Master of Arts in Communication Studies program aims to cultivate communication professionals and scholars who are free intellectuals with broad vision and profound knowledge of communication theories and research methodologies. The program develops graduates who are capable of critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and knowledge creation to foster deep understanding, adaptability, and responsiveness to contemporary social changes.

    It also aspires to produce innovators and change-makers in the field of communication studies who contribute creatively and responsibly to society in a sustainable manner. The program emphasizes the development of academic expertise, professional skills, and ethical responsibility.

The program aims to produce graduates who:

1. Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of communication concepts and theories.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of communication research methodologies.
3.Apply and analyze communication knowledge in research addressing issues connected to various social dimensions.
4.Design research projects in communication studies.

7.Academic System

    The program follows a semester system. One academic year consists of two regular semesters, each with a minimum duration of 15 weeks. A summer session may be offered, with a minimum duration of 6 weeks; however, instructional hours per course must be equivalent to those of a regular semester.
The summer session may be organized prior to the first semester or following the second semester in the first and/or second academic year.

8.Class Schedule

Classes are held during regular working days, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Semester 1: August – December
Semester 2: January – May
Summer Session: June – July

9.Tuition Fees
Total program fee: 66,600 THB Per semester: 16,500 THB

10.Admission: The program admits both Thai and international students who demonstrate proficiency in the Thai language.
