4. Philosophy and Objectives

      The Master of Arts in Media and Content Management is designed to develop graduates in media and content management through an interdisciplinary approach. The program integrates knowledge in communication, business, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI) to address the global transformation of the digital media landscape and to cultivate ethical media leaders with a strong sense of social responsibility.

      The program aligns with Thammasat University’s philosophy of nurturing “free intellectuals and responsible innovators toward global citizenship.” It emphasizes the development of media innovators with global vision and social awareness.

     The program also reflects the philosophy of the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, which is committed to advancing knowledge in media for societal development and producing graduates who are ethical and socially responsible leaders. Accordingly, the curriculum aims to produce graduates who are capable of managing, strategizing, and creating content responsibly, with meaningful roles at both professional and public levels.

5. Program Objectives

The Master of Arts in Media and Content Management has the following objectives:

1. To develop students’ knowledge and understanding of media management, content management, and digital media technologies within contemporary social contexts.

2.To enhance analytical thinking, content design, technological competence, and professional communication skills applicable to real-world organizational settings.

3.To cultivate socially responsible leadership, professional ethics, and a lifelong learning mindset for career advancement or further academic pursuits.

6.Program-Level Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
  Plan 1 (Academic Track)

  1: Analyze issues related to media management, content strategies, and the dynamics of the digital media landscape through the integration of media, business, and technological knowledge.
  2: Develop strategic media and content management plans utilizing digital tools and artificial intelligence.
  3: Select and apply media appropriately in diverse contexts in accordance with professional ethics and standards related to media and AI.
  4: Demonstrate academic leadership by producing scholarly work that meets academic standards and disseminating it through academic journals or conferences.

  Plan 2 (Professional Track)

  1: Analyze issues related to media management, content strategies, and the dynamics of the digital media landscape through the integration of media, business, and technological knowledge.
  2: Develop strategic media and content management plans utilizing digital tools and artificial intelligence.
  3: Select and apply media appropriately in diverse contexts in accordance with professional ethics and standards related to media and AI.
  4: Demonstrate professional leadership by initiating case studies on media and content in various contexts and presenting appropriate strategic recommendations.

7.Academic System

The program follows a trimester system. Each academic year consists of three regular semesters. Each semester runs for a minimum of 12 weeks and no more than 14 weeks.

8.Class Schedule

Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Semester 3: April – July

9.Tuition Fee  Total program fee: 220,000 THB

10.Admission: The program admits both Thai and international students who demonstrate proficiency in the Thai language.
